Goddess Lakshmi always stays with Industrious people

उद्योगिनं पुरूषसिंहमुपैति लक्ष्मी ,

दैवं हि दैवम् इति कापुरूषा वदन्ति ।

दैवं निहत्य कुरू पौरूषम् आत्मशक्त्या,

यत्ने कृते यदि न सिद्धयति कोअत्र दोष: ।।

( पंचतंत्र, मित्रसम्प्राप्ति )

Goddess Lakshmi always stays with the industrious people. Everything depends on the Luck is the thinking of the lazy people. Therefore, we should leave apart the luck and devote ourself to do the hard work. If full efforts are made but desired results are not achieved, there is no harm in that. 

उद्यमी पुरूष के पास ही सदैव लक्ष्मी जाती है । सब कुछ भाग्य पर निर्भर है ऐसा कायर पुरूष सोचते हैं । इसलिए भाग्य को छोड़ कर हमें उद्यम करना चाहिए । यथाशक्ति प्रयास करने के बावजूद भी यदि सफलता नहीं मिली तो इसमें कोई दोष नहीं है ।
