Branch of a tree with lot of fruits bends towards earth. Virtuous person always bow down to earth. But a dry wood never bends down. Neither does a fool who does not respect others.

ReplyDelete"Virtuous person always bow down to earth" is not the exact translation i believe. Here Guna is not intended for virtue. Virtue is more related to conscience where as Guna is related to Quality or Skill. Therefore, my humble submission to this translation is this :
ReplyDelete"Highly Skilled or Qualified people are humble and bow to others just like a tree that is laden with fruits bows under the weight. Ignorant people and dry tree do not bow."
