In a House where no conflict between husband & wife, there Goddess Lakshmi comes by her own

मूर्खा: यत्र न पूज्यन्ते ,

धान्यं यत्र सुसंचितम् ।

दंपत्यो कलह: नास्ति,

तत्र श्री: स्वयम् आगत: ।।

( चाणक्य नीति ) 

In a house, where fools are not honoured; where there are enough stocks of food; where there is no conflict between husband and wife; there Lakshmi comes by her own.

उस घर में, जहाँ मूर्खों की नहीं सुनी जाती ; जहाँ  धान्य का पर्याप्त भंडार है ;  जहाँ पति एवं पत्नी में कभी कलह नहीं होती , वहाँ लक्ष्मी स्वयं आती है ।
