Knowledge is the friend in foreign country

विद्या मित्रं प्रवासेषु ,

माता मित्रं गृहेषु च।

व्याधितस्य औषधं मित्रं ,

धर्मो मित्रं मृतस्य च ।।

( चाणक्य नीति )

Knowledge is friend in Foreign country. Mother is the friend at home. Medicine is the friend of the patient. Religion is the friend of deceased person. 

परदेश में विद्या मित्र होती है । घर में माता मित्र  होती  है । रोगी का मित्र औषध होता है । मृत व्यक्ति का मित्र धर्म होता है ।
