All Sweet things get afraid of the Noble Sayings

द्राक्षा म्लानमुखी जाता ,

शर्करा च अश्मतां गता ।

सुभाषित रसस्य अग्रे ,

सुधा भीता दिवं गता ।।

( सुभाषितानि )

On this earth, after getting afraid of the juice of Noble Sayings; Grapes got ashamed of its sweetness; Sugar got harder like the stone; Even the Nectar (Amrit) has gone to the Heaven.

इस पृथ्वी पर सुभाषित रस से भयभीत होकर अँगूर भी कड़वे हो गये ; शर्करा भी पत्थर की भाँति कठोर हो गई ; और अमृत तो भयभीत होकर वापस स्वर्ग चली गई ।
