We should find out solutions before the trouble arises

चिन्तनीया हि विपदाम् ,

आद्याम् एव प्रतिक्रिया ।

न कूपखननं युक्तिम् ,

प्रदीप्ते वान्हिना गृहे ।।

( चाणक्य नीति )

We should be pro-active in finding out  the solutions before the trouble arises. It is not advisable to start digging the well when the house has caught fire.

आने वाली विपत्ति के बारे में भलीभाँति चिंतन करके हमें उसका समाधान पहले से ही खोज लेना चाहिए । जैसे घर में आग लग जाने के बाद कूँआ खोदने की युक्ति उचित नहीं है  ।
